Pool Shenanigans
I’m a water person. I spend hours taking pictures of water – whether it be a small water fountain or of waves crashing over the rocks or even tiny raindrops on the window.
I even learnt swimming just so I could sit and play in the pool for hours on end. This picture below is of the swimming pool where I did exactly that – spent the entire morning splashing around. I didn’t know swimming yet, and so I used a life ring to keep me afloat.
When I finally got out I had a sunburn so bad it sent my parents scrambling for skin ointments and aloe vera gels. (By the end of this trip I had a broken arm too but that’s another story.)

Needless to say, I wasn’t allowed anywhere near the pool for the remainder of the trip.

I hope you recovered by that time. Take care, at least until next time. πThanks for sharing the picture.
Took it long enough. Now I’m more careful about wearing waterproof sunscreen. π Thank you for visiting and commenting. π
Thank you for your response. I am happy to know that you recovered from the sunburn. Have a wonderful week!
You too have a great week ahead! π π

I love the water too and as a self proclaimed mermaid from another life, no one can force me out of the water. Except sunburns, yep, they’re pretty convincing. Hahaha π
Hahaha! Yeah, no arguing with those π
That’s a clear indication that you have to go. π
I hope your sunburn wasn’t too bad and you healed quickly. But I’m guessing the whole time the water kept you cool the whole morning π I am not a huge fan of swimming but I do like wading in water at the beach π
haha! Yes, that it did. π at the beach, I am a little scared of the waves. They’re known to be temperamental. π But must be fun, i assume. π
That’s quite a place!

I know! Just didn’t want to get out although it looks lovely from the outside too. This is in Thailand. Have you ever been to Thailand?
Unfortunately not.
This was the first foreign trip for us. You should visit it someday if you get a chance. But first come to India. ππ
Oh, I love water, too! I could spend all day at the pool and beach.
Wait. Wait. Let me join you. π
Seemed you came back with good memories in spite of your injuries. I envy people who take to the water as I can only deal with it in very civilised pools! Unfortunately I have a deep rooted fear of water π
I certainly did! π I know what you mean. I am scared of open seas too but splashing in the pool is pure bliss. π
The pool looks too tempting to avoid. howz the sunburn dear.
It was just as amazing as it looks. The sunburn was bad at that time. Had to keep a thick layer of aloe Vera gel applied at all times. Took days to heal. Thanks for asking. π
That pool does look lovely – and tough luck with the broken arm! I have two kids : one who loves the water and one abhors it with a vengeance, so for me pool time is literally spent at the edge of the pool. Ha ha π
Hahaha! That sounds like a job right on the edge. π
very nice place, pics look great!!

I can find myself in here π I used to be crazy for water when I was little, splashing about and refusing to come out of pools. Filling the bathtub with soapy water and playing with the squeaky ducks and other aquatic squeaky toys was always a favourite kiddie hobby of mine π I still love watching fountains and waves passionately.
Me too. π I love the bath tub even now. Unfortunately we don’t have one at home but on vacations I try booking hotels with bathtubs π Thank you for commenting. π
The pool seems enticing π
I only got out because my parents pulled me out. π π
